Students sports event taking place in Belgrade, capital of Serbia. Four days, seven sport disciplines and memorable experience.
Experience worth coming!
WHAT IS UNIADA?
Envisioned by a group of enthusiastic students from Belgrade, Serbia. UNIADA is an international university sports tournament, being held for the second year in a row – Belgrade will host student athletes from 21st to 24th of October.
While working closely, SSA - UNIADA came up with an idea of a 4-day manifestation gathering students from around the world with a goal far broader than fostering university sport as a relevant and important part of university life. Health care, youth activism, fair play, positive energy and the making of new friendships play an equally vital role in this project. And since UNIADA is situated in Belgrade – participants will get to see what Belgrade and its nightlife are really all about.
What is UNIADA E-SPORTS?
Uniada e-sports is a one-of-a-kind international event, with participants coming from various universities all over the Balkans. Seeing how much the competitive gaming culture has grown, we have decided to include three separate e-sports titles for our contestants, including tournaments in League of Legends, Dota 2 and Counter Strike - Global Offensive. This 2-day event gives all players the opportunity to test their skills, have fun and meet their fellow students from the entire region.
We have been asked if we were interested to come to Belgrade. Who is not interested in coming to Belgrade, enjoying a little bit, playing futsal? We really had a good time, while winning the bronze medal in male futsal tournament.
Luka Suton – Faculty of economics, Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
I strongly support the idea of organizing something that is not attached to the profession or the field of studies. This allows every faculty to participate together in this competition.
Denis Milojović – Tehnical faculty – Rijeka, Croatia
I think that UNIADA team did a great job with organization of this event. The tennis courts we played at were really great. Personally, I am very glad that we had referees at every court, which doesnt happen very often when this type of tournament is considered. That is a proof of an excellent organization of the competition aside from bringing students together. I am glad to have participated in this sports event and I hope to take part in it next year as well.
